58th Annual Ceremonial Review
***THIS IS A MANDATORY PARADE ALL CADETS MUST ATTEND TO PASS THEIR LEVEL***
Schedule for 21 June 2025:
8am: Officers, staff and ssc arrive 8am for set up
8:30 am: Band, Drill Team, Flags, Drill Team, MC’s, Parade positions and Markers arrive in Dress of the day noted below these instructions. Attendance to be taken and a check over everyone has uniform parts.
9am: Parade practice/Displays run through
Dress of the day: Civvies, females must arrive with their hair in a bun. Uniforms must be at a high standard, labelled with your names and in a uniform bag. Boots must be placed in a boot box (rubbermaid tote container).
11:00 am: The above group will be served lunch. Lunch Order link: Please, order me lunch.
11:00 am: All other cadets arrive in C1 with medals (if you have blues) otherwise you must wear C5( FTU’s) no black and whites. Attendance will be taken. A uniform check list will be given, closer to the ACR date. Cadets please eat and make you are hydrated before arriving, as this is a 90 min parade.
Parade practice will begin at 11:30 am.
ACR will begin at 12:45 pm, RO marches on at 1pm sharp!
2:30pm: Parade is dismissed, cadets must be picked up by 3:30pm.
Cake and juice will be served to the cadets directly after parade.
VIP guests, there will be a room upstairs for snacks and refreshments.
Cadets will need to help with parade square clean up and change rooms before leaving. Senior cadets will be in charge of Static Display room clean up.
Parade square and change rooms must be closed by 3pm. We must vacate rooms and bleachers by 5 pm.
Parents and guest are to arrive NLT than 12:30 pm. Reviewing Officer will march on at 1pm.
Static Displays and cake will be served after the event upstairs from the bleachers. Dress is: business dress for this event.

The Band and Drill team will also be showing off their routines!!
Band Practice

Glider Fam Flying (Evening)
There will be a Glider Familiarization Flying opportunity for 12 cadets. Priority will be given to cadets who have never flown before.
Please arrive on-time! All cadets must be present before we are allowed onto the airfield and we will only be given entrance ONCE.
Cadets should wear appropriate civilian attire, and should be aware that the airfield environment is outdoors and can change from warm and comfortable to windy and miserably cold (and vice versa) within just a couple of hours.
Registration is full. Confirmation emails have been sent out.
Cadets are to be dropped off/picked up at Gate 16 (see below) of Pitt Meadows Airport, NOT THE MAIN TERMINAL.

Awards Gala 2025
This event is mandatory to attend, as it is on a Parade night. Year end awards, level qualifications, promotions and age outs will be completed at this event.
Dress for this event is formal. Males can wear a suit or collared dress shirt, tie, and dress pants. Females can wear dress pants and a dress shirt or a dress. Dress must be at least to just above your knees or longer. No strapless, or spaghetti straps, or you must wear something to cover your shoulders.
The Awards portion of the Gala will also be streamed for parents to watch live on the Nos Crescamus FB page.
Cadets & Staff need to pay $20.00 cash or e-transfer to the SSC. ( No shows will pay for the dinner in FULL, which is $50.00.)

GALA SCHEDULE
1745hrs: Doors Open for coat check and set-up
1800 - 1830hrs: Appetizers & Drinks are served in the foyer
1830hrs: Dining Hall opens; All cadets to be seated by flights.
1830 - 1930hrs: Awards Presentation (Live via Nos Crescamus FB page)
1930hrs: Dinner is Served
2030hrs: Dessert is Served; Cadets can freely mingle; Dance Floor Opens
2130hrs: Cadets can start departing as desired
2200hrs: Doors close
There will be a unlimited photo booth for three hours, a DJ playing music all night, appy hour, buffet and dessert at this event.

Supply is open ONLY FOR CADETS ATTENDING SUMMER CAMP.

Senior NCO WildPlay
WildPlay activity for Senior NCO cadets.
A waiver will be required for this activity- please check your email and complete the wavier ASAP.
We are only offering the “Classic Adventure Couse”. If you would like to take on the “Extreme Adventure Course”, you are welcome to purchase the add-on at your own expense.

Squadron FTX
This is a squadron wide FTX that can take up to 90 cadets.
This is a weekend long, overnight activity for cadets to learn and employ aircrew survival skills.
Parental Drop-Off & Pick-Up location is the Park & Ride parking lot at 108 Ave and 132 St (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GyKAUFzFKP4Hva1Q9)
Drop-Off Time: Friday, 06 June at 1700hrs
Pick-Up Time: Sunday, 08 June at approximately 1500hrs.
Arrive with a completed and signed permission form. This is your ticket onto the bus!
Minimum Required Items: (Cadets who arrive without these items will be turned away)
Sleeping Bag
Camping, packable air mattress (not mandatory but preferred if you can bring your own).
FTU (or civilian outdoor clothes you would go camping/hiking in, wouldn’t mind getting dirty in)
NO JEANS
FTU Boots (or civilian waterproof hiking/work boots)
Ball Cap/Tilley Hat (Headdress is mandatory)

Band practice will be at the North Surrey Community Park again due to no school access
Dress for the weather, we will be outside.
Bring water bottles to stay hydrated!
We will be at the North Surrey Community Park, which is located directly behind North Surrey Secondary School. Access to the parking lot is via 97A Ave.

Drill Team Post-Comp Potluck.
Please check in with WO2 Buenvenida and FSgt Urrutia on contribution list.
Bring a water bottle and boots/polish as well.

Power Fam Flying (Evening)
There will be a Power Familiarization Flying opportunity for 24 cadets. Priority will be given to cadets who have never flown before. Parade Positions and Markers cannot sign-up for this as it falls on a Tuesday night ACR Practice.
Flights will leave at 1800, 1845, 1930, and 2015 hrs. Cadets who register will be randomly assigned to a shift. If you are assigned to an earlier shift and can still make it back to the squadron for ACR Practice after you have flown, please come join the ACR Practice.
Please arrive 30 minutes early to your flight time to complete the check-in process, and the entire experience takes approximately 1 hour, including pre-flight briefings.
For example, if you are assigned to the 1800hrs shift, please arrive no later than 1730hrs, and you will be free to leave by approximately 1845hrs.
Dress is Civilian - please wear a warm jacket, it can get cold up in the air.

This event is exclusive to cadets in Level 5 and above.

Band Comp
Arrival & Departure:
All cadets must arrive NO LATER THAN 0800hrs for registration.
Our performance time is 0930hrs. Parents/Guardians, Friends, & Cadets are very welcome to come watch and support!
Final Parade is expected to be between 1500 - 1600hrs, assuming there are no delays.
All cadets should arrive wearing your uniform:
Keep your tunics on a hanger in your car and put it on when you arrive so the tunic does not become wrinkled.
Keep your boots in a boot box (or off) and put them on when you arrive to avoid scuffing them.
Females must show up with hair gelled and in a BUN (with HAIR NET OF MATCHING COLOUR).
Spares may bring a change of civilian clothing. You will be allowed to change out of uniform once the band has completed inspection and we have filled all necessary positions.
